Hey from Australia.

I recently received this nice Colnago from Germany but i'm not 100% sure on the year, i'm assuming by the 8 speed Campy ergo that it's early 90's? There's a guy on local Ebay with the same bike claiming it's a Mapei replica but i have doubts going by my breif googling.


Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah i read that once but i seem to see many many different frames all labelled master olympic.

anyone else confirm that? oh and also the "one year" they made them was?

Master Olympic was only made for one year!

I think that only applies to the ones marketed in the USA. I just received one to my surprise as I was expecting an MX Leader instead of the Colnago.:o:o The one I got has the ST extending past the TT unlike most of of the Master Olympics I've seen. Pics will be posted soon.;)

I tend to agree with you re the Mapei paint scheme. Initially I thought it was a Mapei replica but on reflection, I think the Mapei paint scheme had pinky coloured cubes 'floating' on the blue background.
