"The 33"-Road Bike Racing - 57th FBD Insurance Ras (formerly Milk Ras)

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Five of eight stages down so far.
Anybody notice Jaan Kirsipuu is playing with a small Norweigian team. Actually won stage three.
Oldie but goodie Leon Van Bon is there as well with his Marco Polo world travelers.
I think Bert Roesems will find a way to get onto the podium. Too bad there is no TT.

now, now. even if lance wasnt in the giro we noobs would still be discussing the Giro, our local criteriums, and 20 minute intervals, but probably not the Milk Ras.

Thanks for playing along MDcat"3"

I actually started the thread to peak the interest of the old timers. Kirsipuu and van Bon are multi-stage winners at the Tour, as well as Olympic and World's medals for van Bon.

It's nice to see guys like this keep plugging away just because they enjoy the sport and get a chance to see the world in a different light (pressure free).

He reminds me of an old school Bond character. (http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_xd9TCSIbfMY/R44Yy44B04I/AAAAAAAAAnA/YmHKeL9T7Ws/s400/jaws.jpg)
