Foo - Tokyo Polytechnic

Nobody anywhere seems to be able to throw me a line on this, so I figure I might as well ask here too. You never know...

Anyhow, does anyone here know anyone who has any first hand experience with Tokyo Polytechnic University, either directly with their masters in media arts studies program or in general? The masters and doctoral programs in media arts studies look ******** sweet, but the only info I can find anywhere in English (my Nihongo skills are still lacking) is on the TPU web site (http://www.t-kougei.ac.jp/arts/index-e.html). Anybody have any ideas or have any info they can throw my way?

While this is not authoritative, my wife is Japanse and she has never heard of TPI. I was in Japan for nearly 8 years total back in the 70's and 80's, and it wasn't around then.

Perhaps it is a Japanese diploma mill?

As I understand it, Tokyo Polytechnic has been around a while and tends to have a good reputation. But then, the fact that I can't find much info about it anywhere does make me wonder.
