"The 33"-Road Bike Racing - Racing Calendar Lite: Another Recession of 09 Racing Casualty

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

that's a shame. altoona is a great event that when I've done it always thought it cool that the community really supported it. it had to be the biggest influx of annual revenue in altoona, which is otherwise another forgotten pa rustbelt town.

Wow, I was going to go down and watch a friend in the Cat 1/2/3 races and do the Cat 5 races myself. I go to school at PSU Altoona.

I can agree 100% with this quote. Really is a forgotten town.

No we take the summer off due to the heat. Sept it's back on, for few weeks then cross season starts. We race about 10months out of the year, it's nice.

In June we go to Housatonic Hills; in July we go to Naugatuck; and in August we go to Tokeneke...with a stop at Pepe's pizza -- not Sally's -- after the first two races ;-)
