Hello,

I am new to this forum, and I mainly ride beach cruiser style bikes. I like to flip them out adding new style components. On my recent build I am using mag rims, and I cannot attach the rear tire because the configuration with the sprocket is to wide to fit into the frame. If anyone has done this or has a solution please advise me with what to do.

I appreciate any help.

Thanks,
slump

Steel frames can be spread to fit a wider hub, but you run the risk of ruining the frame if you do it wrong.

Iz has it right...with some frames it can be done if the "stretch" is not too much...Sheldon helps a lot
