Mountain Biking - Specialized P-bikes

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

For those of you that have ridden and have experiance with both the P1 and the P3...... How well does the P1 compare to the 3 in reliability and in over all ride feel? Is the 3 worth the extra coin?

Personally, If I had the money, I'd spend the extra for the P3 just for the better components, primarily the TA fork.
Just wondering, where specifically where do you plan to use it?

It is going to be a Ray's bike and used by son at the local skate park and on the street.

Oh, I'd not heard of that. That sounds fun.
My goal is to get out there next winter at least once.
