Hello, I ride a Miyata 310 and my front wheel quick release skewer was stolen off my bike, does anyone know what size the skewer is? Or where exactly can I measure on my bike to check what size I need? Thanks

all front quick releases are the same length, since the spacing is always 100mm... and when I say "all" and "always" I mean 99.9%, there's always some exception.

Hi just go to you bike shop. I do not know if anyone still makes these but I have a few sets of skewers that tighten up with an allen wrench. since you always ride with a small tool kit these are still rather quick to release.

Unworthy's correct, but just so there's no confusion: the front hubs are generally 100 mm over the locknuts on the axle. That means that the space between the serrated surfaces of the quick release will actually be about 110 mm apart when tightened (over-locknut dimension plus the widths of the two dropouts).

This should be a standard item available in a LBS. If not, certainly on eBay.
