Classic & Vintage - Tomassini ,but wich year ..?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Help me determine what year and what model(Tomassini) is this bike?

The aero mount shifter, plus aero brake levers, I'm going to say put it '85 or a little later. What make of components, and do they have any 'date' stamps (XK for example).
edit: didn't catch the delta brake. That'll help pin it down, too. I just don't know the year.
I`ll post later more about the deatils.... just dont have enouf time this days.
And let me know what u think overall ..is it something special ,or its just ordinary machine.
I`m not shure yet ,but maybe I`ll sell it ...
Cheers Mates.

Very nice Tommasini and I believe it is from 86-87 and tubing of slx. Take a look here on my own identical Tommasini crono frame that I got 1988. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3211/3082535207_2801497639_o.jpg
This model from Tommasini with curved seat tubes and top tube was the top model among the time trial frames. Tommasini made also one cheaper model with straight tubes and of cromor tubing. It was common with slx tubing in the early years of low profile frame making (84-86) but oria was better suited for curved tubes and also made lighter frames.
Your bike is a keeper with the c-record components and please take care of it keep as a classic low profile bike!

Stunning bike, thanks for posting. I have a blue Tommasini in that same "fishnet" paint pattern and so far have been able to take a photo that captures how great those paint jobs are.
My guess would have been mid to late 80's as well; the components will help you date it.
You can also sent photos, details to Tommasini's US office and they could correspond with Italy to help you track down dates. You should also post photos on their Facebook page.
