The Calaveras time trial was held today, I rode in the cat 4 women's event and finished third. Really pleased with the result, the ladies of Team Integrate all rode well today, good team spirit. The guys of the team did a great job of organizing and running the event (in conjuction with Cyclepath).
The winning time was 21.04, new course record, Bissell Pro cycling team.
Results should be posted soon.

21.04 is FAST, sheesh.
Again, got to a race extremely late, and got no warmup other than the ride from the staging area to the start line. Luckily, that was a good 1.5 miles... but still not really a good warmup.
I literally arrived at the line 20 seconds before my scheduled start time. I rode up noticed the guy at the line was the guy after me, and left a nice little gap for me to squeeze in.I pulled straight to the line, and the guy goes "Just in time... 20 seconds..." ;)
I got 10th out of 47 or so in Cat 5.
We got 4th out of 4 on the tandem. But everyone there was fast, and the times for 2-4 were all within less than a minute of each other. Winning tandem time was 23 min and change by CA State Time Trial Champions (both captain and stoker are seriously fast).
The 2nd place team beat us in the Berkeley TT earlier this year by around 30 seconds, and it was pretty similar this time around as well.
It was pretty windy out there today. I stayed aero on both bikes most of the time.
Glad I got a top 10.
I ended up with
26.07 solo (23 mph) and
26.39 tandem (I think) (22.5mph)
It was fun.

Don't know if your race time, or the timing getting to the race was the most impressive!
Either way...Nice going...great times!:)

Great rides yesterday. I was especially proud of my better half for getting on the podium (especially with stock Shimano R500 wheels and no aero helmet). It was a fun day although getting up at 5am to direct traffic sucked !

Now with the non-quill stem. I can move the spacers to the top, and get the stem lower. Ruthie doesn't have enough room in the stoker compartment to get low. New frame will fix that!
Position looks pretty good, for putting the areo bars on and adjusting them at the staging area between my run and the tandem run.

Marco, you might want to try an OOP setup on the cranks. I remember Smooooth and Sassy (http://www.bikeforums.net/showpost.php?p=5321510&postcount=13) used that on one of the Sta Cruz-HMB-Sta Cruz ride that Alan organized (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=337769) a few years back and they liked it. Check Zonatandem's review of the OOP setup here (http://www.bikeforums.net/showpost.php?p=2381729&postcount=3).
