Hi, I need a slightly longer seatpost for my old peugeot (steel frame) and the one I have is a very obscure size -- I'd say 25.8mm diameter, according to my calipers. It's rather tight in there. I see a 25.6 mm model on ebay that looks nice. Will the 25.6 fit?
Yes, it may work better, if it does not then cut a small piece out of a alu. can to use as a shim.

350 mm, long enough? I've got an old Peug also, only bike in the stable that doesn't match seatpost diameter with the rest.
