$450-500...maybe more maybe less.

Peugeot prices are all over the map and there seems to be no rhyme or reason for it. I could only speculate on 2 possible reasons, first, buyers are looking for 100% original examples. There are alot of Peugeots out there and originality would set some apart from others. Second would be desireablity, a prospective buyer lusted over a particular example as kid or owned one back in the day and would like to replace it. When that particular model becomes available the buyer acquires it at whatever cost.

I've seen original UO8's and PH10's sell for more than cobbled together PSV's and PX10's. Your bike certainly isnt 'cobbled together', in fact its very nicely done with high quality additions, but isnt original either.

Try a 'Buy Now' listing on ebay with well written ad...if it doesnt sell it wont cost you anything.

^^That seller listed $389 shipping to Japan? There has to be a cheaper way....

I sent a large parcel to Japan a few months back and I only had to ship it to a Japanese company in CA for shipment. I wish I saved the shipping info since it made the transaction very simple for me and probably cheaper for the recipient.

With the USPS your limited to a 108" box (L+Girth) to Japan, there's no physical way a bike can fit into a box that size. If the bike is split up into 2 boxes with each coming in under 108" and each weighing ~17lbs shipping to Japan is $87 per box or ~$175.

Mailing to intermediary is doable if the buyer or seller knows of one.

Miamijim - I took a look at the ebay listing you posted above. What do you think of the price that bike fetched? Is $560 about fair value for a mostly original early 70s PX10?

I base all of my quesstimated prices off of Ebay completed listings. Based on what I seen and heard I'd say yes, but it needs to be very close to original.
