So I finally brought my bike down to the store, got the "cracks" in the fork looked at, and found out they were there all along and just lines from the casting. So after I learned the manufacturing process is the cause of my two weeks off mtbing...
I'm getting a new front wheel. My frame is not disc compatible but my fork is. The shop has a DT swiss hub/mavic rim disc wheel for $90, but they're selling it to me for around 50. Is this a good deal? I think so but I'd like some conformation.
