Classic & Vintage - Give me your opinion - fork look bent?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I know, small picture. Looks alright to me - I'm going to see/buy it tomorrow, hopefully.
does anyone think that thing definitely looks bent?

The wheel is slightly turned to the left. Look at the front axle. Bearing this in mind, I'm gonna say no. Not bent.
EDIT: On second thought, I can't tell. The left leg of the fork could be bent back while the right is fine. Need better pictures.

Looks kinda bent to me. Not too bad, but better to presume the worst. There's a shop near me with full frame alignment equipment, that can straighten minor bends.

i think the bars and the fork aren't quite lined up. makes it hard to get a bead on the fork. i guess you'll be able to tell when you see it.
I'll go have a look-see, then.
Thanks, team.

Does the wheel rim split the space between the fork blades evenly, or is the rim off to one side or the other. If not even, the fork is likely bent. Also, do the wheel rims match. If not, chances are the front wheel will have been changed out since the original might have been totaled when the forks got bent. Also, look at the top tube and down tube where they fit into the head tube lugs. Is the paint cracked or splitting? If so, the frame set has suffered also.
For those who are interested, I have a complete feature article on MY "TEN SPEEDS" that helps a person understand how to determine frame set damage. I even help teach how to determine amount of damage and, sometimes, how to repair the damage.

While the angle of the pic makes it hard to tell for sure, but I agree I think the fork is bent back like someone hit a curb or wall.

I've come to the conclusion that it's impossible to tell from a picture unless the damage is severe. Look for wrinkles underneath the top tube and down tube at the lugs or a little further back.

You can tell from a photo. I've actually bought a few bikes that seemed fine in person, and only realized the forks were bent after looking back at the photo. Back to the bike, yep, bent.
