Southern California - Grrly, JustMe and Me on GMR Today! (Sat pics)

Lets set teh stage. I'm in yellow so I am the Yellow Jersey. Team SilverPlater is made up of Grrlyrida and JustMe. Why Team SilverPlatter? Cause today they tried to hand my arse to me on a silver platter, and nearly succeeded today on GMR. We started from Encanto Park, up GMR to the village and back. 60 'ish miles with 6100ft of climbing.

I thought I would do some repeats if the other two fell behind. Didn't happen at all. I hit the shack then headed back down only to find Team SilverPlatter right behind me!:eek: Grrly has been working out and I had no idea she could climb like that. Lets call her "SandBagger"! JustMe must have had two servings of his favorite blueberry pancakes cause he was on extra double charge today!

Constant attacks on the yellow jersey seemed to be on the menu today. Speaking of menus, the apple pie alamode they ate at the lodge seemed to charge Team Silver Platter cause they continued to attack throughout the ride!

Not sure what was in that applie pie but one serving and Team SilverPlatter were up and smiling, and back on the attack!..There was a Jeep in JustMe's pic. I shopped it out, hope it looks ok.

Now about the killer attack flies. Are they attracted to EPO? Team SliverPlatter was chased down all day long by killer flies. I had no problem with them but I didn't any foreign substances in my body.:D

Hey Cleave! It was a perfect day. Couldn't ask for a better one. Looked as if it might be cool but the sun shined and at no time was it hot or cold. I wore an underlayer but never got hot. Never got cold either!:D

Last week was sizzlin' when JustMe and I were up there on Friday. Today was perfect!:thumb:

Ha, ha, very funny Beanz. I was in the back on the downhill. Seems like teamsilver platter split up when justme went up front during the return. All I saw was a white and yellow speck. You guys were descending at warp speed. What did you two get up to on those switchbacks? 50 mph?

I think the top speed may have been 40'ish on the straights. I don't try to accelerate on the DH. A tuck at the most. Maybe 30 in the turns. Just looks fast when your face is 2 feet from the pavement.:eek:
