Tomorrow many people are going to gorge themselves on 10000 calories worth of beer wine and junk food. Post what you did today and whether its your excuse to let go tomorrow :D.
As for me i rode with the Sunday morning guys and gals for about 30 miles. the air quality was not that great and my asthma went nuts this morning. it really didn't help that i had been sick since last week. my lungs usually protest for the week after i am done feeling like i want to die  so on that note i fell off the back of the fast group within the first 5 miles. normally i would be with the fast group for the whole ride. knowing that the rest of the ride isn't going to be fun so i was ready to grind it out. we get back to the parking lot and a couple of the ladies were getting ready to go for a run. they ask me if i wanted to go and instead of admitting that my legs were smoked :innocent: i said i didn't have my running shoes. so at least i was not lying. but running right after my ride this morning would have hurt real bad. as some know i did my first tri a few weeks ago but i never realized that i rode with a whole bunch of them. alot of them have raced Olympic distance and a couple have already done iron man distance races  right now that's a dream for me, but maybe someday. first i need to complete the half Olympic distance first :D
so i get home and look at the weather map and see that rain is on the way. so i guess that means that i am running sooner than later. the run started out fun as well. my calves were very sore. so i grinded out a 2.5 mile run. i was quite a bit slower than usual but i made it.... barely. its taken me forever to do it but i think today is the 2 week mark where i have not walked at all on any of my runs. very happy and sore. i don't know anybody that's having a cook out tomorrow so i will be out on the mountain bike with a couple of friends. just what i need, more punishment lol.

Easy 16 miles solo today following a harder, 25 mile tandem workout yesterday. I'm off Tuesday (replacement for Good Friday go figure) so we'll plan on a 30-40 mile tandem ride.

45 miles to to homestead speedway and back. Hotter than I expected, need more electrolytes next time.
Considering the century I rode yesterday, I thought I'd do an easy recovery type ride today. It didn't quite work out. 39 miles, 1400 feet climbed, 14.8 avg. Maybe I'll do that recovery ride tomorrow. I'll probably need it a lot more than I did today!

Today's workout was hills. I am riding with a group that is training for the Courage Classic. Anyway, we did about 25 miles with 1600 ft. of climbing. At least that is what my Garmin said. Anyway, it was really tough, not the distance, but it seemed that we were constantly going up hills....

Saturday was a 60 mile ride with 6100ft of climbing. Sunday, 40 flat trail miles. Today is my birthday so I will pig out on cake and ice cream. Tomorrow is maybe 50 more miles on the trail. I don't drink booze, cake and ice cream is my thing! So today is my bad day:D
Yesterday, 60 mtn miles

Today. Rode down to the coast. Figured we'd run into some friends then they would sing Happy Birthday to me. Nope, nobody showed! I waited and waited but no dice. I started to cry, that's when Gina decided it was time to leave!

I rode every day of weekend, Friday was a 25k recovery ride, Saturday was an intense training ride with local LBS club did 130k in rolling terrain 3850' of climbing avg speed 27.5km/h, today did a normal club ride, another 3000' in climbing 90k with avg of 23.1 but man it was windy out, we have a no drop rule and it was my designate weekend to be sweep. Not to bad, rode most of the ride with an attractive female rider, heck she even bought me a coffee and cookie at halfway point. Great weekend of riding.

Fastflyingasian-check out Respro respirators. They make products specifically for asthma and sporting activities. I've been using one of their products for cycling for over a year now and have been very happy with it.

sounds like a good idea. but i should be back to normal in about a week or so.
I planned on a short 'recovery' ride and to test a new position for my Brooks B66. I was still pretty chewed up in my soft tissues from the 52 mile ride Saturday. However, once I realized 20 miles gave me a 100 mile week, I made that the goal, and just rode around Oaks and Mont Clare.

Phoenixville teen-agers doing something both stupid and dangerous - diving into the outflow of the canal. Note the kid halfway down the 20 some foot drop.

St. Michael's in Mont Clare. The church is two blocks from Egypt Road (Rt. 23), the main road in town. This is one of those sights I'd never have seen without a bike - I'd have driven past it.

Goose and goslings on the Schuylkill River Trail. Mother Goose hissed at me as I approached with a pot and a bag of herb and chestnut stuffing.

Abandoned locomotives in Oaks, PA. The Perkiomen Railroad started here in the late 1850s, and ceased operation in the 1970s as its owner the Reading Lines was folded into Conrail. Much of the former Perk main line became the Perkiomen Trail, but not this portion.

The Hairpin on the Schuylkill River Trail. The right side leads to Audubon, Valley Forge, and eventually Philadelphia. The left branches just out of the frame to either northward to Green Lane as the Perkiomen Trail or loops under the bridge continuing as the SRT. Through the gate brings you to the town of Oaks.

I rode to work. Only ~5 miles, but it beats driving. ;)
The gym opens late tomorrow. I haven't decided if I'm going to go or not.

Edit: went to the gym after all. Got chased out early by a fire alarm, but still got 45 good minutes in. :)
Postscript to my ride. While I was riding back to my car, I noticed lightning. The final mile and a half became a sprint - I averaged 16MPH! So much for 'recovery.' :)
I actually had a post from yesterday about my sunday ride, but I'll add it to the list here.
39 miles on my sunday ride. My longest solo ride ('course, the majority of my rides are solo). I averaged 14.5 mph and thankfully the new saddle is fitting nicely. I just upgraded my Trek 2.1 with a Bontrager inForm RL saddle. I can't tell you what any other good fitting saddle feels like, but this thing is friggin awesome! Absolutely comfortable and after almost 40 miles I was ready to ride another 40. I also had switched out my shoes. I think my old Shimano shoes were just too narrow. I bought some Keen Springwater shoes (spd). Very wide shoes and very comfortable. I also use the Superfeet insoles. Just awesome.
Not sure where I'm heading this afternoon. I tend to ride like Forest Gump. I just ride until I hit an intersection and then pick a direction. Loving life =)
My Sunday ride was on Saturday :) 2nd ride of season - 35mi, ave 13.7mph, ave hr 158bpm. Total ascent 430 ft - its flat here :) The ride went really well and no discomfort until the end. Celebrating Memorial day with homemade tacos.
Gonna get serious this year about riding distance. July will be my 2yr car free anniversary and longest ride was a metric last year. Signed up for a century in August and joined the local bike club but need to get out there and try a no drop or beginner ride.
