Check out the story of paint job of year.
If you all recall, our own George (The Fixer) did a similar thing to his evolving Pista. And they say we're retro. :)

Wow, coming from an English teacher: that was a seriously painful English teacher joke. All you need now is a blazer with elbow pads.

As an English teacher, do you prefer the tweed or the corduroy?

Coming from a high school drop out, it was the best I could do.

Don't forget the necessary swath of chalk dust on the back from leaning against the blackboard when explaining something to the class.

What's more impressive is Maverick's all over decal job. If they're using water slide decals, I'd love to know how they get them seamless and over the welds.

Seems like a lot of trouble to go to just to make a bike look that ugly.

There's a bike at my LBS that has been covered with postage stamps and then clear coated. That looks great, sorta surreal...

Yesterdays news\ tomorrows fish n' chip paper. Elvis Costello.
Ugly.
A home version, George would be cool.
Angled news clippings on a frame?...1'st, BLOWS, 'caus it interferes with the bike geometry angles.
If cycling history.....maybe. Exploded grain photo-not print. (Bend over and read please.)
Impressive, for a wall hanging. Unless you collect art.
Maverick's cool, more Andy Warholl pop.

tell me how painting a bunch of articles onto a frame is going to **** with the geomtry? these aren't newspaper cutouts glued to a frame and then clearcoated. they're actually painted replicas.
and if you'd look, they are of cycling history. tour de france history, anyway.

The angles of the print lines are in conflict with the tube angles, and do not complement them.
Print whether paint\ applied graphic screen print transfer etc, that is not a swell job. And NOT a paint job, a GRAPHIC-IMO-ugly.
Dirty old newspapers.

Anyone come up with a carbon fibre look yet? Spray on or glued on to have the CF effects?
