I use the 60mm sks fenders with 2.0 wide tires and that works great.

So they obviously fit then... the people at Surly are telling me that the 60 mm width is too big... WTF?

The 60mm do pinch inward very slightly below the fork crown due to the wide size. Not a problem with any fender that has a little bit of flexibility. Just don't use wood, and they will be fine.

These are SKS P45 (45mm) fenders on my 52cm. Mudflap is homebrew.

All of the posts I've read on these fenders say they require some scooping around the fork to fit. P50's fit with no problem. I have PB 50's on my 54cm LHT and they work and fit great.

I use the their Hard Cores on my LHT but in spite of their claim, they will break without too much trouble...

What width tire are you using? I have 1.75's and the Planet Bike fenders work great.

I have those in silver on my LHT, they fit fine, and if I want to go to a wider tire, I'm good.
