I just purchased an Asus Eee PC 1000HE netbook. On the relatively short list of complaints is the case's high gloss shell (i.e., a fingerprint magnet).

I'd like to get a vinyl or gel "skin" to help keep the fingerprints and small scratches at bay, but I can't seem to find one that's bike (or bicycling) related.

Any advice?

You could just buy some printable vinyl and make your own.

Sorry...I looked at 3ACP, Gelaskins, DecalGirl, Schtickers, Zagg, Skinit, Amazon, Skinslove & Music-Skins, but couldn't find one that's bike related (yes, there is one called "chain design" out there, but it doesn't look like a bike chain to me).

Would one of our members be willing to donate a photo???

I have them on my phone and laptop and they are awesome. Look around they have thousands of designs.

Sorry Jynx....searched music-skins, but couldn't find a bike related match (updated post #5).

I think I may have an alternative approach. Will let everyone know if/when I hit paydirt.

Its going to be hard to find laptop skins or cases for almost anything but Macs for the most part. This I've found firsthand, as one laptop I have is also a fingerprint magnet.

You might check with some skin makers -- I have heard of some offering custom ones, though the price may be pretty steep.
