Recreational & Family - Finally found tires for my kids 24" wheels

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

My kids love to bike at the campground and even the paved bike trails and some roads while we vacation but they've been killing themself on those MTB tires. I finally found some tires via a BMX web site. I'm hoping these will roll better on pavement but still let them enjoy the dirt!

Nice find!
I would like to know the percentage of 24" mountain bikes that never go off pavement. Almost all come with big knobby tires.

Probably not an issue in this case, but you should check the ISO/ETRD (http://www.sheldonbrown.com/tire-sizing.html) measurement for the rim that you have and buy tires according to that.
