Has anyone ridden either one of these two rides? Would the bike psychos century be a good choice for a first century ride?

I think yes. I did 70 miles at last year' psychos - and probably do century there this year - they said last 25 mile loop is the most scenic.

The ride is relatively flat and goes along the river. For the first century it's a good ride.

My first century was North Shore 2 years ago - I think psychos ride has better roads.

Did blood sweat and gears two years ago, One of the finest supported rides I have ever done! Be prepared to climb 13,510 ft in 110 miles, and snake mountain is everything it is advertized to be(make MT Mitchell seem like a central Ohio mole hill). I highly recommend it!
