Our oldest is home from L.A. for a week and last evening we put her on my wife's Sun X-1 to see if she could ride it. She handled it just fine (the kickstand is down as she is just posing post ride here)...

Tomorrow I've got a breakfast date with both my daughter and my bride, and we're riding the recumbents to the Diner. I'll be sure to take my camera with me for that adventure (I'll try to stay behind the camera).
