wonder which part of the 20% is completed and wonder when the whole project will be completed?
kraig martin's well designed concept. Embraces exclusion of the application of "Same Road, Same Rules" concept in growing arena of space/road users by actual physical segregation!

The East Coast Greenway has been around for well over 10 years.
It's a pleasant effort, but from a practical perspective the Adventure Cycling maps of the East Coast are easier to use. Not sure how much overlap there is between the two.
They just had their annual summit in New York somewhere down near Battery Park with a group ride from 42nd Street to City Island via the greenways.

Click on a state and it will show you what part of the route is off-road (completed) and what part on on-road, and what if any purposed trails that might be linked in. When is any body's guess, as it is up to each state to complete their segment.

sorry!
i thought martin's concept included East/West and North/South USA routes. these routes invited automobile exclusion (as much as practicable).
i was not aware that these were seperate concepts.
thanks for the clarity!
