You should sell "crew" packages. I would love to do this, but there's no way I could organize (or want to) a crew with follow vehicles, etc.

Well, lucky for folks who don't want/need to bring crew, the Hoodoo 500 offers a Voyager Division for racers to ride completely unsupported (but with drop bag service to time stations along the course).

But don't you need to qualify for that division?

Yes -
but the qualifying standards are very do-able. And trust me, you wouldn't want to attempt the Voyager Division without at LEAST doing a 600k. It's super super tough.

I've done a very supported 344-mile ride (24-hour race at a race track, so always circling by my support) and 300K's. I'm just not ready to undertake organizing follow vehicles and a whole crew. I'll get a few 600Ks this year and try for Voyager next year.

BTW, you can post a message and hope to find crew here: http://hoodoo500.blogspot.com/

Here are some route pics taken during the four-day Hoodoo 500 Training Camp. Of course, the racers won't see all the route since they'll race through some areas during the night. http://fototime.com/ftweb/bin/ft.dll/home?inv=1885EB3A943C3F5

PS -
We expect to have our first tandem ever in the race this year! And in the Voyager Division no less!
