Recently saw this cool rack on a big dummy. Finally found one on-line.
It's called the cold springs.

- most expensive?
They're different racks for different purposes. Should be apparent to everyone, but nothing deters those that feel obligated to shill for their favorite companies.

Nice, that frame mounted one is intriguing. It's definitely one I've not seen before.
In case anyone on this thread I'll post links to the requisite CETMA (http://cetmaracks.com/) and PaulComp Flatbed (http://paulcomp.com/flatbed.html), since they don't appear to have been posted here yet.

I'm saving up to put the Surly Nice (front) Rack on my touring bike. I found it here (http://bikeisland.com/cgi-bin/BKTK_STOR20.cgi?Action=Details&ProdID=441) with no shipping costs.

I have a nice one from Jandd Mountaineering which has a top shelf and can also carry low rider panniers. http://www.jandd.com/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=FREXT

Made by Steco. The company also makes a front tray rack as well as a rear rack with a fold down wheelstand.

Mounted the Cold Springs rack on tonight. Looks great and is very stable. Added the compressed air tank and a nice insulated bag. Looks more like a touring setup and I'm very pleased.

In this pic you'll see the new rack with the air can as well as the horn. Couldn't find space to mount the cage under the rack like I'd hoped. Ended up just mounting it to the side of the rack. I'll continue to think about this and will search for a more secluded, less obvious place to mount the air bottle.
