Foo - The Dos Equis ads...I like 'em

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I hate 99.9% of ads on TV, but these make me laugh.
"The Most Interesting Man in the World." (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Bc0WjTT0Ps)
I think my favorite is The Most Interesting Man in the World on Pick-Up Lines.
"There is a time and place for them. The time, is never. You can figure out the place on you own."
Good stuff.

Guy reminds me of Fidel Castro for some reason. Maybe the beard? shape of face?
I don't know but I can't see past it. I barely hear the words because I am lookin' at Fidel the whole time.
I love 'em too. I don't drink beer anymore, but I appreciate the ads.

Looks like they more or less ripped off a bunch of unfunny Chuck Norris jokes and made an unfunnier commercial.
I do like their product, though.

huh, never thought of that. As much as I hate chuck norris jokes, I find these ads excellent.

I can't stand the ads. I too think the man looks like Castro, and I do not find him to be the most interesting man in the world, I find him to be the most annoying man in the world. "Stay thirsty my friends." Come on, really?

Holly should appreciate this one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8ZHjcQZ15g&feature=related).
I found them mildly amusing.

Slate did a piece (http://www.slate.com/id/2218849/) on the Dos Equis ads.
Interesting that the shill in this one doesn't just guzzle one beer brand. He doesn't even always drink beer, really. And basically admits he doesn't always drink Dos Equis, but that he prefers it.
That's pretty bold, in an advertisement.

Gotta agree with CyLowe97 there. It's a nice statement. And some of the fun stuff they put in there is pretty cool. I like the old film style they use for his "historical" stuff.
