I'm preparing for a ride from central Illinois to Yorktown VA. next year and I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on any alternate routes in getting there besides the ACA maps that would take me from Murphyboro, Il. to Yorktown. I'm under some what of a time schedule and it seems that I could cut some time and mileage off by just going a more strait line instead of dipping so far down into Kentucky. I live in the Springfield Illinois area and will be starting the ride the first of September. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
