Stuart O'Grady is in the top 10 of the Dauphine. Today he finished 4'th with the same time as other big shots like Armstrong, Mayo, Hamilton, Leipheimer, etc.
(like the guys expected to be on the podium in Paris in late July)

When Stuart had the yellow jersey in the TDF a few years ago, it took some hard climbing stages to get it off him. I think he wore it for 10 days. He's a fighter.

It is very reassuring to see Tyler do so well. :) Those results bode well for him and Phonak. he took 1'15" out of one of the best TT's and climbers in the world, in a race where he's obviously not on top form. Nice.
Kudos to Mayo also, although his results weren't entirely unexpected.

This is a bit late, but what surprised me was that Lance's climb up Ventoux was his fastest ever and he still lost all that time to Mayo.

It was his fastest ever time trial up the Ventoux, but I read somewhere that he climbed it significantly faster during the 2002 or 2003 TdF during one of the stages.

Well, it was faster than his ride in 1999, and he lost a minute to the winner in 1999 (finished 5th, and this was against weaker competition). Though I don't see how his record time is that relevant without taking into account weather and surface changes.
