Every fifth week at work I am scheduled for a 7 off. Nice but usually I only get 5 days off and called in a couple. My 16th wedding anniversary was May 22. and happened to be the start of my 7 off. My wife told me she had something special planned that day.
So, we took the kids to Memmie and Grandpa's and headed to Little Rock. We end up at the airport and the next thing I know, I am on my way to Cancun Mexico for 5 nights 6 days. Totally taken by surprize on this one. She had been planning it for months behind my back. I really didn't mind though. I love my wife.

Very nice! What an awesome surprise. I went to the top of the pyramid at Coba and thought I was going to die.

It wasn't the climb up Coba that hurt. It was the climb back down. My left knee hurts some so I was making the right leg do all the work on the way down. The next day my quads on my right leg were killing me.

We paid for the bike taxi to take us down the path. I tried to get my wife to let me pedal and the taxi driver to ride next to her but she didn't go for it. Today was the first day back on the bike. I can feel it.

The beach at Tulum was the best.
