Has anyone ordered from Probikekit.com before and lives in SLO / California area? They have some pretty good prices on stuff, cheaper than local bike stores! Are they good for supply and how long do orders take to arrive cos their site says they are based in the UK? Many thanks for any help.

I have ordered from them several times without any problems. I have heard some people say that on certain items the shipping charges are high, but I have never had that problem. Usually I alway received my order within a week.

OK many thanks, I have had an email saying they have a sale on this weekend with an extra 5% off all orders so I am going to stock up on tires! The code is USAMAY if you want to use it!

yes i have, free shipping to the US. great prices!
I've been ordering from Probikekit more and more. The delivery seems just as fast as a U.S. based store, maybe faster! and on lots of items, the shipping is free. Great prices too.

Looks like I am going to bag some Keo Classic pedals too - Check this out $63.24 from Probikekit and if I get them from performance bike its $89.98 plus $8.95 UPS ground - I think with the money I save I am going to buy a few beers and wait for my parcel to arrive from the UK!..Rock on..

I buy from them too often.
Awesome deal on 2008 dura-ace. $920 to my door last year. Wow.

Yeah. Shipping is free. It's hard to tell though because their order form asks what kind of shipping you want. Just skip the options. Occassionally US Customs inspects packages and it may add a few days delay.
But I have had nothing but good experiences with them. Conti GP4000s are about half the US price.

Does anyone have an angle on the Dura ace di2 ? Is it worth the money! You could buy a round the world plane ticket x 2 for the price they are!!

Excellent company to deal with - I live in Ct and I get items within 4-5 work days.
I have never dealt with an overseas company over the internet. How does the money work? What is the current conversion rate between dollars and English pounds? It is almost unbelievable that shipping can be just as fast as American companies. Well, maybe not so unbelievable. I just waited 3 weeks for a shipment from Performance.

Money, these days, is nothing but bank-transfers done electronically. It doesn't matter the currency/country. The translation of, in this case, the US dollar to the British Pound Sterling is done automatically upon the charging to your credit-card. And a few thousand miles, across water, is about the same as California to New York City.
The world is shrinking. Want Swine Flu? Go hang out at the airport.

Well I saved over $35 buying from them so I look at that as supporting MY local economy known as my wallet!!
