Electric Bikes - BionX regen stopped working?

Hi to all fellow BionX owners.

I just noticed today, that my breaking regen is not activating all the time, only in some occasions.

everything else are working in great condition.

Anyone got a clue or some pointer what i should look for?

Did the magnet sensor become dislodged? The magnet and sensor have to be at the proper distance from one another to activate and de-activate when you release the brake lever. Sometimes, they can become dislodged from one another. Check there, that would fortunate if that's all it is.

I should have mentioned I'm talking on the handle bars, near the controller, there is a small magnet, attached by wire to the controller. When you squeeze the hand brake, and then release it, this magnet tells the controller to go into regen or exit regen.

It may have come loose and is now too far from the handbrake part.

nope, that's not the case, i have mine drilled in, it can't come lose unless the entire break level breaks apart.

i think i found the problem, it was just toooo dirty, after i cleaned up the connections, and replug back in all the wires, it worked right away.

the other day it was raining real hard, and i was on a muddy rocky trail...

because the Regen was working intermittently, On / Off whenever i hit some patches of road.

I though it gotta be a lose connection somewhere.

Odd thing is Assist mode never stopped working.
