So my pedros inflator recently sprung a slow leak. I usually keep unpierced carts in my bag, but once i crack it, it's now done within two days.
It used to hold carts for months with no problem...
Can anyone recommend a good inflator that has not sprung a leak? looking for something relatively small that can get me up to at least ~90 lbs and is relatively well designed (ease of use, holds a cartridge, etc).

Thanks

Maybe a pump? I hear those rarely spring leaks.

I thought CO2 cartridges weren't made to be stored, that once you pierced the lid they were basically done for.

You are correct! However, I'm going to go with the temperature becoming hotter as the culprit here, and not the inflator head. Higher temps will increase the pressure in the canister causing it to leak out much faster. OR the heat is softening the o-ring in the inflator head. Either way, you're lucky to have used carts more than once, anyways.

i see. yeah. maybe the pedros inflator was better than i gave it credit for.

bought the super small (green) innovations one anyway (forgot to check this thread). it's super tiny, and at a bulk cost of less than $1 a 16gm cartridge, using one per wheel from now on isn't a very big issue.
