Just a quickie to say hi. I'm enjoying the forums greatly since finding it about a week ago. I ride a Giant OCR 1 and have been riding for about 3 months. I'm a high school teacher and looking forward to my first summer as a "roadie". Fun times ahead! :D

Welcome to the forum. Cycling is just so much fun! I ride in England so don't suppose I'll be passing you on the road! We've got the good summer weather over here now so I'll be riding to work as well as "getting the miles in" on the weekends!

Cycling is freedom!

Hi, and welcome. What do you teach?

Been teaching high school for six years. I've taught Geography, World History, Honors World History, US History and US Government. Riding is great for relaxing after dealing with 200 students every day!

I'm out in Diamond Bar, so not too far from Orange. I think I'll be ready for some group rides in the next couple of months. The longest I've ridden is 32 miles at an average of 15.3 mph. We rode from Diamond Bar to downtown Fullerton. I was pretty beat after that one but I did that ride on THREE hours sleep!
