So my GF is looking to purchase the complete Heidi from the IRO website. I finally convinced her to go fixed but she wants to try it out on SS first.

I was wondering for those of you have ordered from IRO whether or not their wheelset came with a flip flop hub or if it is fix/fix?

We wanted to save money by purchasing the fixed version since I have a set of brakes available and all we need is a freewheel cog, but if the flip flop only comes on the SS option we'll probably choose that one.

If its fixed/fixed you can still put a freewheel on it.

I'm sure you can request a fixed/free wheelset when ordering from IRO.

if you would have looked into it for about 2 minutes youd see that you CAN go fixed free.

under cog selection: select freewheel tooth
under Need a second cog: choose between another freewheel and tooth amount OR fixed cog and tooth amount.

^ and if you read the the OP they mention they wanna order the FIXED one since they already have brakes to put on it.

the hub is fixed/free.
you'll need to purchase a freewheel and a rear caliper/brake lever - from IRO or elsewhere.
I didnt read the original post cuz im drunk so just do that ^

well the only option is to order the single speed with the flipflop hub, since the fixed doesnt have the option to come with a fixed free. looks like hes getting an extra set of brakes.
