I was in the chat room earlier, and now it won't let me have access. It says my user name is already in use.

Did you sign out before exiting? Clear your cookies and try again.

As my memory serves me you should sign off from the chat routine or it expects to see you and logging in again will cause an error of the sort you are reporting.

The chat routine may not time out like the rest of the site does, my best guess. Leaving the room will probably not dump you automatically as in the rest of the site.

Are you recognized when you enter WITHOUT signing in?

Chat is acting slow with 5 users. Won't let you post after you press enter and you have to refresh in order for it to post. Grrr.

When you try to scroll it pops back down. So you can't read the history.
