When I got home this evening, I decided to tune the derailleurs because I noticed increased chain rub noises during a ride last weekend. When I started rotating the crank on the drive side, my Keo pedal started wobbling. First I thought it had gotten loose but when I went to tighten it, it didn't move. After removing the pedal, I found that the retaining nut inside the Sram Force crankarm had somehow become loose and was causing the pedal to be unstable. It was too late to call Sram and have to wait till Monday to speak to their warranty dept.
I plan on calling several shops tomorrow, but if anyone happens to have an extra new or used 53/39 172.5 or 175 10spd crankset they're willing to sell asap, please let me know. I've got a Sram groupset so any 10 spd. crank will do as long as it has the (english bb). Hoping to find one because I don't want to miss out the Mansion Ride on Sunday, May 31 in Syosset, NY.
I'll be in Queens tomorrow visiting my newborn nephew, but I'm willing to commute for pickup. Appreciate any help.
