Been riding a Peugeot fixie I put together for about 2 weeks. This is my 1st fixie. I bought a wheelset on cl which already had a 16T cog. Whenever I slow down, using pedal back pressure, then start pedaling forward, I feel a slight slip - feels like the rear wheel/cog.
I've got two wheelsets with different lockring spacings. One has six notches, if I remember correctly, the other three. Is there one tool that can adjust both?

One pin lockring spanner will do both. You don't need a tool that engages all the notches at the same time. Hell if you were in a bind you could use a hammer and punch.

Hozan lockring tool. I also suggest at minimum running a dura ace cog and lockring. It looks like you just have some generic really crappy steel cog/lockring that typically come OEM on low end fixed gears.

Thx, I'll get one of those tools, and put a decent cog and lockring on my "to buy" list.
I looked at it today - turns out the chainring bolts were loose. A total surprise, as I've never seen this in my 35+ years of cycling. And I know I tightened them when I installed the short stack bolts. I've even got the correct tool for the back. I guess riding fixies puts a reverse stress on these bolts.
