I have a 2001 Manitou SX-R that was working fairly well untill the oil seals blew on the right leg this week. Now it doesn't hold oil and has no dapening. Does anyone know if new seals are available for this fork, and is it worth rebuilding?

"No" to the latter, so the answer to the former doesn't matter. For both performance & safety reasons, a new fork would be worth the cost and you should be able to find some good deals on '03 leftovers and '04 closeouts. Good luck!

You could try to contact Answer Products, they've always been helpful when I've called. I don't know if they'll have what you need.

However, even if you spend $75, you still have a 3 year old fork. I'd save your money and put it towards a new fork.

Unless that fork has sentimental value.........hang it up like a trophy.
