Introductions - new guy from columbus (ohio, that is)

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hi! My name's Ben Johnson, OSU student (well just graduated/ing)...

You may have seen me in such films as: "There's no snow today, and I can ride my bike Yay! I'm so happy I could launch myself down these stairs!...****! I hope no one saw that!" or "I'm fine, didn't need that skin anyways; just a little blood, gotta keep going" or most recently, "Aren't I Cool Now: I've gotten myself a fixie. Now everyone will think I'm a bike messenger, and I will be universally revered." (AKA "wow, i love this bike")

Love to hear from anyone in Cbus, and anyone else in this amazing world of human powered transport.

peace

Hi,

Welcome to the forum! I'm in Wellington Ohio, just a bit south of Lorain. Just got a new ride, a recumbent. It is PURE FUN! Even starting some limited commuting to work. Congrats of finishing school! Wow, college, does that take me back. Graduated from OIT (Oregon Institute of Technology) eons ago. Pedal easy!

I was never in a movie, but I once had my arm in a cast!

I also live and ride in Columbus and the area. It's got a ton of cyclists, but it's not very well organized. I'm trying to organize us a little better, so you can check out the link in my sig if you want. It'll give you a few rides around town you can do if nothing else.
