After a few years of riding and several months of racing on my 06' Trek 1000 triple w/ Sora, I finally have upgraded.

'09 Caad 9, '09 Rival, Powertap Pro+ built into Open Pros. Or as I like to call it, the bikeforums race subforum special. :thumb:

Awesome! It looks great, is all business, and is almost 100% OCP compliant. Just trim the steerer tube and you're in biznatch!

Honestly, I think this is the best bang for buck build anyone can have! Good on you for getting the best price:performance combo!

Any test ride opinions?

(PS: I hate you. I would have loved that color scheme over my brushed Al one :( Red and black are my school colors!)

Thanks rtc, steerer will be cut, still dialing in the fit. The smoothness of the crank over my previous one is probably the biggest noticeable difference. The stock bars on this one are wider than my previous ones and I'm not sure I'm diggin' them. I'm liking the Rival and the double tap though, nice. Most people have the white like Hocam's, which is definitely hot, but I'm the only one around here riding the black.

I like a narrow bar myself. I ride ~40's c-c.

Much more comfortable for me than wider bar.

Man, can't you at least get a color coordinated head unit.

Did you get to take her out and crush some this morning?

A red Ptap head unit would be hawt.

I think I got crushed. :( Tommy, Flatballer's teammate, & others were putting the hurt on me. Small group, 50+ fast hilly miles.
