BMX - Im new... need some info!

I have always been interested in flatland and about a year and half ago (apporixmately) I started on my Dyno Compe. But I bent the rear axle within a week doing some beginner trick. :(

I would like to start up again but would like a better bike. I was in a bike shop earlier today and saw three different types of bikes they offered (Haro, Huffman, and Diamondback)

Considering I have been away for some time I don't know what bikes are good and what are decent prices. Any help would be appreciated and any bike suggestions would be nice as well

well you also nned to consider weight of bike you want. if you plan on getting haro there bikes are haevier if you are getting a hoffman it will end up beign a lighter bike. Also look at everything immportant liek the three peice crank a strong frame and strong rims. Stock rims most usually are not the stongest. Plus make sure the bike is for flatlanding for freestyle dont het a racing bike just becuase its light then but a gyro and pegs on it that is just plan stupid

Have any bike suggestions? Does flatland mostly use lighter or heavier bikes? What is a decent brand?

The things that most people look for in a good flatland bike are length (about a 19" or shorter top tube), Demensions (as close as you can to a 90 degree head tube would be great), and weight (but that all depends on the strength and size of the rider).
Are those the only Brands that you are looking into? If not I would consider some others that are specifically made for Flatland. I would recommend a KHE Titus Flatliner if you are looking for a bike thats already built. If you are willing to build your own then I would definatly get an Ares Ashura Frame and build it up. It is a very short, light, and durable frame. Its geometry is perfect for Flatland too. You could also consider a Quamen Clad, WETHEPEOPLE Stud, WETHEPOEPLE Pony, Standard Shaman, or even a Fly Micro Machine. These are all excellent frames.
If you are limited to those bikes you specified then I would go with a Hoffman EP. Great begginer OR pro bike. Light, and short.:) Haro carries very few "flatland quality" bikes and are pretty expensive and heavier than others. Diamondback as far as I know, doesnt carry any real flatland specific bikes at all.

The reason it is so cheap is because, well for one its on sale, but mainly because it is a very low line flatland bike. Very good for beginning though. But with one piece cranks and stuff, it could use quite a bit of upgrading. I have to sell my flatland bike and it really sucks because i spent a lot on it and i really really like it. you can check it out on the "What do you all ride" post on this forum.

What should I swap on it? I am sure that I can email flatlandfuel guys and they would switch the part for a cost (of course).

Yeah Flatland Fuel will definatly change whatever you want on it, but yeah it does cost a little extra. What you should switch really depends on how serious you are about the sport and how agressive you are with it. The parts on it are fine for beginning, but if you are looking to stay with it and you want to keep that bike then the things i would swap would probably be the pedals(plastic pedals really suck), The grips (stock grips are usually too hard), cranks (definatly get some tubular 3-piece and a sealed bottom bracket). Thats pretty much it to start out with. If you want extra stuff or want to upgrade you can, but with that stuff you should have a plenty decent bike. For so cheap thats actually really awesome especially cuz (i think) the bike looks really cool. I like the frame geometry a lot. It should work really well for you.
