Northern California - Peninsula "walls"

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. I'm looking for some super steep "walls" in the peninsula, preferably the San Mateo - Palo Alto area. The catch: they've got to have a straight and flat (or slightly inclined) stretch before the grade kicks up. Residential areas are fine, low traffic is preferred.

Summit Springs off Trip near Kings Mtn.
Golden Oak (Horseshoe shaped road) off of Alpine in Portola Valley (near Arastradero/Alpine).
-- This can be followed by the Tres Hombres of Pain (Los Trancos/Ramona/Vista Verde)
Hastings/Club from Alameda de las Pulgas (near Ralston/Alameda)
Crestview from Edgewood (near Edgewood/Canada)

Manor in Pacifica has a couple of flat blocks near the beach leading up to the hill itself:

Looks like this from about half way up:

I don't think many of those are flat and straight at the bottom. Los Trancos/Ramona is semi-straight. I think the others all get steep immediately after 90 degree turns.

But there are relatively flat sections just before the turns.

Some sections of Alameda de las Pulgas might qualify.

It's a bit south of Palo Alto, but Redwood Gulch has a pretty steep punch in the belly. Mora is also pretty steep.
Summit Springs off Trip near Kings Mtn.Ahh, I came across that one once while poking around on a map. For some reason, I've wanted to give it a try, but I keep forgetting. It looks... intriguing.

I used to do hill repeats on Hillsdale Blvd between Alameda and 280. Good climbing there.

What he said. There's also Alameda de las Pulgas between Hillsdale and 42nd;
King Ridge between Fernwood and 42nd;
Hacienda between 27th and 41st - between 39th and 41st, it's especially bad.
Basically anything that parallels the Alameda, or Hillsdale from where they intersect, heading South or West.

Can't believe no one mentioned Westridge!

Westridge (in Portola Valley) isn't nearly as steep as nearby Golden Oak. Neither is flat and straight at the bottom, though, which is what the OP asked for (for unknown reasons).
In the Palo Alto area, Los Trancos + Ramona is the only steep climb that I can think of that is flat and straight at the bottom.

short and sweet, repeat as necessary. It's relatively flat from the Polhemus turn onto Bunker Hill drive.
