Hi,
I'm planning a bike tour of Spain, and want to learn as much as I can about bike maintenance beforehand. I would ideally like to get hands-on instruction, but am having difficulty finding classes in English. Velo-quebec is only French, and I've been warned off Techno-Cycle's "bilingual" classes. Any other English classes don't have anything scheduled before the Fall (leave Sept. 3). I know about the co-ops, but have heard that they aren't very welcoming to people who don't understand the basics. At this point it seems I may have to resort to a book, which as you can imagine is not ideal. Zinn and the Art of Mountain Bike Maintenance would probably be where I'd start (I have a hybrid). If anyone has any advice I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks
