That's a November 2006 piece. If the thing worked as claimed, I'd expect everyone would have heard a lot more about it.
The piece reads like an infomercial, the "research" is about altitude training in general, not the alitmeter, and in the very unscientific test, the author's power didn't even increase.
I'm sceptical.
The coach for Team Florida sleeps in an altitude tent. Yeah, I know, we're not talking about the altipower here..
At my level, I don't see the point in spending the kind of money to go hypoxic safely. And I'm not sure I'd want to trust my life to something like this.
