Are there any other 8 speed shifters that are compatible with the SA XRF8 hub? I have the SA 8 speed shifter now, but want to switch to another type. Can I use a shimano or sram?, or even the bar end 8 speed thumb shifter?

I have researched some but found nothing about compatibility.

Here is one from Jtek. They now list a SA 8 speed specific shifter.

IGH shifters are specific to a make and model of hub as cable pull varies widely depending on hub make and model. Also cable pull for most IGH's is the same for each step or shift from low to high, not true for derailleur shifters.
