Classic & Vintage - what's your next project? what's on the drawing board?

What project are you thinking of, in the works or on the drawing board. My next project involves finding a 1988-9 Bottecchia in ADR colors (the Lemond TdF winner) and decking out with Croce D'Aune including the famous Delta brakes. A deep drop 44cm cinelli bar and perforated Regal saddle would make it perfect. What have you guys got going?

My next project is to find enough spare time to complete the Capo, so that I can ride it around and show off its gorgeous new paint job.

1977-78 Motobecane Grand Jubile. Not much of a project really as bike's in really nice shape. Am mulling a wheel swap. I usually go clipless even with vintage rides but decided to try the PowerStraps with this bike.

Good idea but they're just a tad small for my 11.5EEEE New Balances. I can get my toes in but not as far as I'd like. I want to keep this bike 1 I can ride with sneakers. I didn't like clips even when they were all that was available. Keeping my eyes open for other options.

I have a Libertas framed fixie I need to finish. Install bars and front brake and she'll be ready.

I'm currently rebuilding and modernizing '73 Raleigh Sports English 3-speed for my wife (step-through frame). Just shot the frame Royal Blue today at work (I used Coronado Coropoxy 2-component epoxy). I already painted the fenders, stem, fork and chainguard. Earlier I had cablestops brazed on the frame at work.

I'm using a fork from a Bridgestone RB-2 and a GT Outpost mtb stem. The S-A stuff is mostly gone since the previous owner was in the process of converting it to a derailler drivetrain. It will have Mavic MA2 700c rims and Campy Veloce front hub (not sure about the rear hub yet). Dia-Compe N500 calipers and a Shimano B126 130bcd crank (I don't know the model name of this, anybody know?). Rear derailler will be a Shimano Sport LX short cage. H/bars and saddle/seatpost are to be determined. Just picked up the Sugino 38t chainring yesterday that I ordered.

Well, I hope I didn't bore you with all that but it's my most involved project yet. I'll be excited to get it done but I'm wanting to take my time and do it right.

I'm thinking of finding something to make into a track bike, but realistically I'm going to have to build a real commuter before that happens.

Mine is in progress now: A much abused, Colnago Cyclocross bike. The steel frame really needed a repaint & I have it down to bare metal now. Frame weighs just 4 pounds! Not bad for an oldie. Haven't decided yet which of the original components will go back on as it had a real mish mash. Cinelli bars, SR stem, Super champion tubular rims, Campagnolo Record hubs, seatpost & derailleurs, Shimano crankset, Shimano barcon shifters.

i have an old Schwinn 20" muscle bike in pieces, about to be painted a blue metallic :) not sure what year it is or what model, i just know it's not a sting ray. but oh well, it was $22.50 when i bought it ;)

17.5 chromo Diamondback frameworks to DH.
Have to replace the BB, wich for me's a first and a mecanical disc brake front (also a first) The rest of the bike is parts- Then i'm gonna spend a fair amount on a shock- above $300 anyway.
Gonna have a 1 by 9 drive, 34t chairing, Ritchey severe condition headset etc.
No idea @ all about wheels yet..Ones with BIG tires. Those big fat Maxxis, can't wait- hell I run a 2.10 rear tire on the front I love bigwheel so much...

After that, a real ROAD bike, first one ever. Bianchi. Can get a sweet one for $300.

There's too much in line. The 72 PX is finished except for touch up paint, and tommorow I'm making an art-student fixie out of a UO8 I bought for five bucks; I can leave it locked up places and not freak out too much if it gets stolen, because the whole thing is gonna cost about 25$. After that, probably work up a bike for a friend. Maybe overhaul the 67 PX, or start converting the 73 PX fixie to full Phil Wood. I can't think that far ahead.

I have an '89 Nishiki Ariel, elevated chainstay Mountain bike. I believe this is the same frame as that years all steel Alien. Don't have all the original spec. kit so I'm doing an early 90s period build. Amp B1 fork (yeah I know you gotta rebuild them every 20 minutes) XT thumbies DX rear der. San Marco Concour saddle. WTB speed controller cantis w/ Dia Compe levers etc. I'll probably never find that Control tech 90 mm reach ahead stem that I need tho'.
Then there's an old Rochet, in a shed out back of this guys house I just met...
