Hi,

I'm curious about getting a new saddle. I'm a newbie to Tri's, have a Trek 2200 road bike, LOVE the aerobar position but I think I hate my saddle; Bontrager Lux lite. I've got my finger poised on the "purchase" button of a 2009 Terry Ti saddle but would love your opinion.

After my first few 25+ mile rides, I had major soreness in those sensitive areas. I'm still completely a sprint tri-girl, but LOVE cycling and soon wish to do a 100k and maybe one of those 3-day deals.

help! :)
Mary

oh man well for mens saddles a tri saddle has more padding on the nose of the saddle compared to a road saddle. now im not sure if that applies to womens saddles as well. you should speak to a woman who knows what she is talking about and that is not me. good luck

Saddles are amazingly personal. Not only that, but I love my current saddle in training, but when I wear my race uniform it kills me. I don't know what to do but I can tell you, find a shop that will let you try and return, or even just sit on a few in the shop.
