I own a Garmin 305. For a long time I've mapped rides with CourseCreator, downloaded the course to my Garmin Training Center, then dumped it into my 305 via my PC.

Then I bought an IMac. Now I can't transfer courses into the Training Center to save my life. I've downloaded all the updates for GTC onto my Mac, but nothing works.

Any ideas how to fix this, other than use some PC to transfer courses into my 305?

I've checked out the search function here, BTW, and can't find any helpful info.

Did you try searching here for some help with the 305 and an iMac?

I don't use MotionBased. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

The MotionBased forums are full of some pretty knowledgeable folks who might have an answer related to using GTC on a Mac, whether you use MB or not.

+1

Which is what I was trying to suggest. Take a look even if you don't use Motion Base the forums are full of people who use MACs and Garmin 305s. It certainly is worth a shot, to post the question there.

Have you tried BikeRouteToaster (http://www.bikeroutetoaster.com)? I have a Garmin Forerunner 305, and have had no issues exporting courses from my iMac. BikeRouteToaster uses the Garmin Communicator Plug-in, which you can download for Mac from Garmin's website. BRT, among many cool features, also automatically adds course points (turns) to routes, something I had to do manually in GTC.

You might want to give ascent a try - http://www.montebellosoftware.com/ - which has a great interface and is made especially for macs. The other website you can try is www.bikely.com

Hope this helps.
