Can anybody help me identify the make, value or age of this tandem bike? It has Messinger seats, but no name on the bike. I've attached several pics. Thanks

I believe it may be a German made "Pixie". The lugs are rather distinctive, and this picture I found is fuzzy as hell, but looks like yours, except for the springer front end! Maybe this was the "off road" model!
Then again, on your bike there's a cut-out on all the other lugs except the front fork lugs. It's a possibility your fork is not original. I can certainly see that elaborate springer rig not withstanding the ravages of time!
Anyway, here's the info that was posted on this bike:
"1931-1940 Pixie - Vintage Pre-war II, balloon tire, rear facing drop-outs, tandem, "Made in Western Germany" and "Garantie furnahloses stahlrohrund asseniotung written on rear cross bar, Serial No. 1845934. Pixie emblem on both front and rear fork. Metal spring shock on front fork."

Very distinctive lugs and a great find.
'Onegun' did it again!!!
The only German tandem we've ever ridden was a VeloSchauff.
