Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

What a flick, slow paced but engrossing. Mucho good acting. Neil Young sound track(No singing) I think Neil spent a couple of hours listening to Link Wray before he scored, but it only made it better.

Link Wray. Bullshot> got it?
As a young punk I heard it in a hippy record collectors store- walked out with it.
Everybody, punks, rockers, hippies and shrubs was impressed. (guitar solos like a jet plane roaring outta the sky!)
He used to slash his speakers @ dragraces with a switchblade to get distortion I read (pre-effects pedals).
Banned from radio because of supposed bike gang association\ references.
Peter Gunn is, I believe a rip off of Switchblade. (should check dates)
The Peter Gordon\ Link Wray stuff was smooth too.
So marketing stuck us with the B-Boys (BEACH not BEASTIE) and watered down surf. Yeech.
Ya got good taste in old rock sir.
Jef.
Totally forgot about the movie-...Yes, since a Link Wray fan and wicked bike mech recommends?.. I'll see it.
