I have reached the end of my rope with this "POS" Ascent Delta Wireless Computer. I have followed the directions and set it up multiple times. Everytime I think I have it working I find that it stops working or doesnt work at all. The most I have managed to get this work was about 5 minutes at a time. This is my first time working with a wireless system and I may be missing something. So I took some pictures and perhaps someone can point out my issue.
Here is what I have done so far:
moved the sensor up and down the front forks.
removed a reflector which I thought may be in the way
swapped the batteries from the computer to the sensor and then replaced the sensor battery
setup and re-setup the tire circumference

The unit detects speed only for a short time and then stops for an unknown reason. The time always is correct and there is no battery light showing a low battery.

is the sensor on the same side of the fork as the computer unit is on the handle bar? The goal should be to have minimal metal between the sensor and the unit.

is the magnet on tight and is it at the the recommended distance from the sensor....these guys seem to be sentive to that distance.

Are there any other electronis in the way? I had a problem with interference from a blinking led flash...I had to move the flash to the other side of the bar from the unit and sensor to eliminate this issue

don't know if this will help....but it's what i've seen

they are on the same side (right side). I have moved the sensor up as far as it will go with the same results (the unit only works sporadically).
The magnet is on tight and the distance is 1-3mm.
There is only a headlight on the left side of the handlebars but I wouldnt think that would cause any problems with it. I did remove a white reflector that was sort of in the path of the computer. I thought that helped but still having problems now.

Have you checked the battery? Mine stopped working one day, I checked the battery, and the casing was cracked.

I have solved this problem. It appears that this unit has a very narrow beam coming from the sensor. this may be common with all the wireless units but since this is my first one I can only speak of this one. I had to very slowly and deliberately track the beam with the computer until I found the only spot the computer would receive the signal. I ended up mounting the computer sideways on the handlebar stem. thanks for the replies.
